Drª Paula Baptista (ORCID 0000-0001-6331-3731, h-index 31) is currently Auxiliary Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB), member of “Centro de Investigação de Montanha” (CIMO, http://cimo.ipb.pt/web/) and the convenor of the International Organisation for Biological Control (IOBC), working group ‘Integrated protection of olive crops”. She has a degree in Agricultural Engineering, a Master in Quality Control and a PhD in Science. Her main interests are focused on bio-prospection of biological control agents (microbial antagonist) against pests and diseases in olive ecosystem, on biotic interactions, as well as on the effects of cropping practices on biological control agents. Within these issues, she has participated in 33 national and international research projects (10 as Principal Researcher/IPB team leader); and was awarded with 11 prizes. She supervised/has been supervising 10 PhD and 30 Master students. Her publication record includes 95 ISI indexed papers. She is member of the editorial board of “Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution”, “Scientific Reports” and “Plants”. She was also National Evaluator of Final Project Reports and International expert project evaluator (e.g., Cost Action, FONDECYT, UEFISCDI).
