Nikolaos Koutsougeras was born in Athens on March 10, 1965 and grew up in Chalandri.
He is founder of Phytogroup (Phytothreptiki SA & Ora Services I.K.E.). He is President & CEO of Phytothreptiki SA based in Aspropyrgos, Athens as well as General Manager at Ora Services I.K.E. based in Chalandri.
He graduated from the Agricultural University of Athens and founded the company N. Koutsougeras & Co. Plant Nutrition OE in 1989, which was transformed into Plant Nutrition SA in 1995 and of which he is still President & CEO. In 2014, the company Ora Services I.K.E. was created, of which he is General Manager.
He is founding member of the Association of Producers and Merchants of Fertilizers (SPEL). He participates in all the Boards of Directors from its foundation until today from all the positions (President. Vice President, Secretary, etc)
He has been involved in the public with various capacities, such as Chalandri District Councilor, Candidate Municipal Councilor of Chalandri, Candidate Councilor of EVEA. He is married and has two kids.
