The Citrus Technical Center is a public institution under the supervision of the ministry of Agriculturethe it was created on May 12, 2007.The Center is managed by a board of Directors composed of 12 members, who represents various ministries and organisations involved in citrus industry.General objective is to ensure the connection between research and extension by Introduction of new techniques and technologies developed by national and international research efforts and ensure their adaptation to the real field conditions; Participate directly in the training and retraining of engineers, technicians and citrus producers;Develop cooperation and collaboration with national and international institutions working in the field of citriculture;Undertake field experiments and investigations and produced documents and pamphlets that may be used easily by producers; Undertake field experiments and investigations and produced documents and pamphlets that may be used easily by producers.

CTA will carry out the different activities in the field and will participate in the different activities of the lab  in order to contribute to the evolution of the citrus sector by manipulating new techniques and their development on the ground
